Timeless Wait

He used to be happy,
He used to be excited,
For last years too ,
Days seemed Months,
Hours seemed days,
Minutes seemed hours.

He shall leave soon,
He shall reach soon,
On his soil, the holy cow.
Under the mango grooves,
But he wants to just know,
How long is a ‘soon’?

If ‘soon’ is a long period,
Long enough those ages,
He wishes to return back,
‘Soon’ from the bosom.
From the timeless naps.
Wish – Time just stops there.
